Terms and Conditions:
By registering for the event and paying the fees, all participants acknowledge and accept the following General Terms, Conditions & Refund Policy:
- Venue: The event will be held at “The Teachers Club” and McGowans of Phibsboro on June 06-7th 2026. Both venues have a spacious dance floor, adequate lighting, and comfortable amenities for participants and attendees. The venues in which the event will take place can be changed by the organisers before the event, this will be duly notified on the event website and via email to already registered participants and facebook and whatsapp groups and it does not entitle the participants to any refund or cancellation rights.
- Participant Requirements: Participants must be at least 18 years old, have dance experience. Participants are expected to respect others on the dance floor, refrain from disruptive behavior, dress appropriately for the occasion, and must agree to abide by the basic social rules of tango events. Inappropriate behaviour will not be tolerated and may result in removal from the event.
- Registration: The organisers seek to achieve 50-50 follower-leader balance at the workshops. For this reason, advance registration as couples is strongly recommended. Single registration is also allowed; the organisers will do their best to find you a partner. A concept of a waiting list might be employed. There might be a number of tickets available at the door; nevertheless, we cannot guarantee any partner in case of single participation. The number of students per workshop will be limited. Organisers reserve the right to close the registration not to excess the maximum number of students per workshop. Register early to secure your spot.
- Liability Waiver: By registering for the event and paying the registration fees the participant is agreeing to a liability waiver, acknowledging the inherent risks of dancing and releasing the event organisers and the venue managers from any liability for injuries sustained during the event.
- Ticketing and Admission: Tickets for workshops can be purchased online via the registration form or at the door (subject to availability). Online registration and milonga pre-payment closes at 12 pm on Friday (29.06.2026).
- Online Registration Process: 1. The participant fills out the registration form. 2. The organizers review the form and check it against the role balance and availability of spaces. 3. The organizers email the participant to confirm their participation and provide payment instructions. 4. The participant completes the payment for the package within one week. 5. The organizers send a final confirmation after receiving full payment for the agreed package.
- Cancellation by Participants: Refunds will be issued in full for cancellations made by the participant no later than one month before the scheduled start of the event (1 pm, 06.05.2026). Unfortunately, organisers cannot offer a refund for cancellations made after this date. Please contact the organisers as soon as possible in case you are unable to participate in the event.
- Cancellation by Organisers: The organisers will do their best to make the event possible. However, they reserve the right to cancel the event in case of circumstances outside of their control, including but not limited to inclement weather, serious illness of the artists, global pandemics, or wars. In such cases, participants will receive a full refund.
- Publicity and Marketing: The event will be promoted through social media, email newsletters, and local advertising channels to attract a diverse audience of dancers and enthusiasts. By attending the event, participants consent to being photographed and video recorded, and agree that such media may be used by the organisers for promotional and archival purposes. After the event, participants are encouraged to contact the organizers if they wish to request the removal of their images.
